Where the first words came from

This app learned to speak for ecstatic.world. Its first screen said “Step onto the floor”, and the gatherings were Ecstatic Dance, Biodanza and Contact Improv. That community is where the idea of arriving somewhere through people rather than through an account was worked out in the first place.

The default frame here is now neighbours sharing what they have. The original is still the whole app under ?app=ecstatic, unchanged, and it stays that way.

Where this app’s voice came from

This app first opened with “Step onto the floor,” written for the dancers at ecstatic.world, who were the first to ask their own web for floor space, a ride, a sound system to borrow. That way of asking a room for what you need, honestly and person to person, is where this frame grew from. Thank you, ecstatic.world.
